HEALTH ALLIANCE FOR AUSTIN MUSICIANS
HOSTS FIRST MUSICIANS FORUM

(Austin, TX) -- Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) will host its first Musicians Forum to garner members' input about services of the new and innovative program, raise awareness for it, and reach more uninsured and low-income professional musicians who will benefit from its services. In just six months, more than 350 Austin musicians have enrolled in HAAM.

The first of the biyearly forums is scheduled for 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, in Austin. Members of HAAM can R.S.V.P by calling Carolyn Schwarz, 512.322.5177.

In a recent customer satisfaction survey of HAAM members, 96 percent of those responding to the anonymous on-line survey rated the overall quality of care and services at SETON, St. David's Dental Program and SIMS Foundation as good, very good or excellent.

The coalition that debuted in mid-April 2005 is SETON Healthcare Network providing low-cost primary health care services with emphasis on wellness and prevention, St. David's Community Health Foundation providing free basic and preventive dental care, and SIMS Foundation providing low-cost mental health counseling.
